Sales Support Representative (Temporary Position)

Summary:
Reporting to the Sales Support Group Manager, the Sales Support Group Representative will provide world-class service to our customers and support all internal departments with customer relations for a minimum temporary period of six (6) months, with possibility for extension.

Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Provide all customers with excellent customer service.
Answer customer calls and assist customers with orders, questions, and warranty claims. Educate customers on products and company policies as needed.
Build and maintain customer relationships.
Make outbound sales calls.
Perform customer order entry.
Monitor customer credit risk. If a customer is high risk, notify the credit department before entering a new order.
Evaluate and process all manufacturer defect and six-month outsole warranty claims.
Inform manager of any escalating customer complaints.
Inform manager of any new or unusual defects in products.
Communicate with and support all departments.
Collaborate with other sales support representatives to ensure the efficiency of the department.
Collaborate with all other department representatives to ensure the efficiency of the company.
Process customer sales credits, returns, and maintain approval records.
Authorize credit card payments for appropriate customers.
